JOB OVERVIEW
The IT Analyst Programmer plays a dual role:
As analyst, analyze the requirements provided by IT Business Analyst and produce the corresponding technical design.
As programmer, implement the technical design into the homegrown solution, provide support to testing activities and break fixes.
The homegrown solution facilitates manufacturing planning, specifically with lot scheduling.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Junior IT Analyst Programmer will undertake or participate in the undertaking of the following responsibilities:
Conduct feasibility assessment on the user stories prepared by IT Business Analyst under the guidance of senior team member.
Produce high quality technical design documentation.
Perform code change to implement the technical design into the homegrown solution.
Assist in preparing test cases.
Align with roadmap strategy, KPIs, Metrics and continuous improvement plan.
DELIVERABLES
The Junior IT Analyst Programmer will prepare or assist in the preparation of the following key deliverables:
Technical Design Specification - specification of how the homegrown solution is being designed and the technical details of it that could trace back to the business requirements.
Unit Testing. An important quality gatekeeper to ensure the solution is ready for integration testing and of top quality.
Technical Solutions. In this context it will be the homegrown solution.
Qualifications
SKILLS
The Junior IT Analyst Programmer will demonstrate the following core skills and competencies:
Technical. The homegrown solution is developed in PL/SQL and Java (more precisely Spring framework and React).
Communicator. To understand what people say to ask the right questions to surface essential requirements information, and to articulate, both verbally and in written form, information effectively.
Analytical. To evaluate the information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, and distinguish solution ideas from requirements.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Having experience with the mentioned programming languages are highly appreciated.
Experience working on business analysis relevant are highly appreciated.
Experience supporting semiconductor manufacturing, particularly with manufacturing planning are highly appreciated.
Education - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
