About the role
OceanaGold is seeking a suitably qualified and motivated Senior Business Analyst to provide weekly revenues and cash flow projections for our Didipio Operations. You will also act as a point of contact for all copper concentrate and dore-related marketing initiatives as well as other critical monthly accounting and forecasting tasks for Didipio Operations. Reporting to the Manager-Commercial, your ability to build effective cross-functional team relationships, will ensure your success in this challenging site-based appointment.
This is a great opportunity to leverage your previous experience in business analysis and to mentor and coach our highly engaged Commercial team and the dynamic Didipio workforce to achieve outstanding results and ongoing drive for continuous improvements.
Duties and responsibilities:
Support the effective management of our offtake agreements as well as inputting relevant data as required
Coordination of all marketing as well as accounts payable and receivable correspondence
Maintaining copper concentrate and dore tracking files on invoices and necessary shipment permits
Compile all revenue-related information for weekly cash flow projections including production and haulage statistics
Provision of three to six-month-rolling copper concentrate and dore production forecasts
Consolidation of the annual life of mine budget and financial plans, as well as the five-year business plan for Didipio operations
Assist in the implementation of new best-of-breed business forecasting systems and other project work as required
Review all monthly reporting on price/volume variance analysis and provide general support for our Management Accounting team.
About you

Tertiary qualification in Accounting
Minimum of 3 years working in a similar role for a North American and/or Australian-listed operational mining company
Minimum of 6 years of working experience in the mining industry
Demonstrated marketing, financial modeling and budget planning experience
Proficient in Pronto accounting system as well as all standard Microsoft applications
Demonstrated experience working with Mineman and COGNOS revenue and reporting tools
Sound valuation and analytical skills
Self-motivated and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
