We are currently searching for an energetic, organized "PR Manager" to work at our Milwaukee Tool Asia Headquarters in Hong Kong. Successful candidates will have strong PR and Events knowledge, established media network & great interpersonal skills. Job Summary & Responsibilities:
Formulate Asia wide communication strategy and PR plan including budget, timelines, etc
Build strong working relationships with PR Agencies, media, internal and regional teams
Collaborate with key stakeholders and PR Agency to develop tool kits, boilerplate, bios, FAQ documents, Crisis Management Plan, etc to ensure all outputs are in line with MilwaukeeTM️ brand messages
Lead development of promotional material and publications (brochures, videos, social media posts etc.)
Responsible for partnerships, events, media activities, press release (copy writing, localisation and distribution)
Work closely with PR agency and Media to seek opportunities for interviews, partnerships, sponsorships and advertising
Track media coverage and follow industry trends
Prepare and submit monthly PR reports
Requirements
Academic:
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Public Realtions, Journalism and Communication or equivalent required
Job Qualifications Experience:
6+ years relevant Marketing, Media and Public Relations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent knowledge of social media platforms
Strong network of media and publication is required
Experience with media pitching is a plus
Successful record of generating media coverage for a brand, or business
Ability to work in team as well as independently
Computer literate in MAC OSX
General:
Creative marketer with strong customer service and business mindset
Thrives in fast-paced, agile working environments
Detail minded with can-do attitude
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Outgoing and positive Team player
Strong interpersonal, organizational, time management and leadership skills
