Roles and responsibilities:
Bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance
Balance sheet reconciliations
Prepare information for any payments or schedule of payments as required
Daily data entry of purchases and sales invoices
Debtors and creditors management and reconciliation
Processing of payroll and superannuation payments
Preparation of compliance reports, including BAS, IAS and SGC Statements
Preparation of monthly management accounts and reports
Liaising with customers, suppliers and employees as needed
Completes other bookkeeping duties as required
Technical:
Minimum of 2 years bookkeeping/accounting experience. Preference will be given to applicants with
Australian work background
Firm knowledge of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
Sound understanding of Australian business practices and culture
Excellent in English business communication, both verbal and written
Experience in using Xero Accounting Software is a preference
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Behavioral:

Ability to successfully communicate complex quantitative data to decision makers
Detail oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
A proactive approach to the role with a willingness to learn and ability to use initiative
