Objectives of the Position: To manage sales of crop protection portfolio in Luzon with direct responsibility for revenue, contribution margin and base cost budgets. To formulate business strategy, develop sales forecast and budget, directs distributors and customers to achieve sales targets, pursue major prospects and lead in major negotiations, and construct appropriate terms of sales to drive sustainable business growth. Main Areas of Responsibilities: Establish customer network base in the assigned regions. Proactively conduct market research to determine potential business opportunities and generate new business ideas. Conceptualize and implement new business development strategies by identifying market trends and customer needs to create a sustainable business. Plan, lead, and ensure sales activities are implemented to achieve market performance targets by identifying, visiting and interacting with existing and prospective customers to understand their needs to create a long-term customer supplier relationship. Gather and evaluate information such as market trends, pricing, application of products/technology and service needs, and regulations and setup and maintain a database for such to support identification of new businesses. Develop long-term relationship with distributors and customers by jointly setting targets, providing sales and service requirements, and reviewing and monitoring performance. This includes negotiating distribution and sales contracts and ensuring that these comply with company standards and country statutes. Coordinate with third-party organization to execute promotional strategies and programs. Review and monitor outstanding and overdue accounts, and credit limits of key accounts, distributors, and customers to ensure credits are within manageable and secured limits. Minimum Education and Qualification Required: Degree in Agriculture or related fields. At least 3-5 years of commercial or sales experience in crop protection products and allied industries (e.g., fertilizers, feeds, seeds and non-crop/pest control solutions). Knowledgeable of crop protection market: technical, commercial, farming techniques, specific issues, etc. With high level of understanding of crop protection/life market dynamics (retail/POS, distributors, competitors, etc.) and value chains in agriculture. Possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. With strong planning, project management and channel management abilities. With excellent relationship building, influencing, interpersonal communication and personal presentation skills. Has good organizational skills, a proactive mindset and ability to multitask and prioritize work. Demonstrate leadership, professionalism, and integrity at work. Based in Luzon or is willing to be assigned anywhere in Luzon. Possess a valid driver's license.
