Job Descriptions
Accountant:
Financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting
Managing accounts payables and accounts receivable & recording cash receipts and making deposits & Ensuring receivables are collected promptly
Managing and sending of invoices and receipts to debtors & creditor and payments into accounting software
Recording the financial transactions of clients in bookkeeping soft wares, spreadsheets or databases
Carrying out bank reconciliations & Checking figures and ensures accuracy
Reporting of any irregularities on the client's data management
Help Prepare BAS statements and PAYG quarterly and ensure that all financial records are accurate and timely for the end of the financial year
Processing payroll on time
Monitoring debt levels and compliance with debt covenants
Calculate variances from the budget and report significant issues to management; financial statement and provide analysis of the same
Conduct weekly and monthly reconciliations of all bank accounts; Periodic reconciliations for all accounts to ensure the accuracy & preparing a budget
Provide information to the external accountant to assist in the preparation of the yearly financial returns and tax returns
Reports profit and loss on all project generated weekly to the management.
Admin.
Keep records of vehicle servicing, tool tagging and ensure validity
Keep an electronic filing system in order and accurate record
Record and filing of subcontractor agreement and documentation
Daily Communication with project managers and management via zoom, WhatsApp & emails
Organize insurance renewals and maintain records
Organize stationery and other office consumables online and arrange deliveries
Diarise project completion dates & ensure signed and completed; Complete O&M manuals on completion, archive and completed fully handover projects.
Project administration duties, setup electronic files, prepare claims schedule & serve as client contact person
Take all reasonable steps to obtain discounts on any supplier invoices
Provide clerical and administrative support to management as necessary; Assisting office projects, procedures and legal requirements.
Maintain Stock In and Stockout registers and ensure allocated to for and check-in weekly emails
Any other admin duties as requested
Job Qualifications
5 years experience in accounting and admin
Experience in handling Australian accounts is a great advantage
Must be an accounting degree graduate or equivalent
Excellent English oral and written communication skills
Knowledgeable of Accounting soft wares (e.g. Xero, Ostendo or equivalent)
Knowledge of GST and experience with BAS preparation
Experience in building and construction industry including management and recording retention and debtors financing
High-level of the initiative, suggest process improvements
Keen to learn new concepts quickly and independently
Strong time management skills and able to work within frames
Experience:
XERO: 5 years (Preferred)
Accounting: 5 years (Preferred)
