About The Role
Role Location: Solaris One Building, Makati
Role Type: Permanent/Full-time; There are 3 positions available for this role
Shift Schedule: Dayshift schedules will be adhered to
The role is part of the Financial Control (FC) community of practice, with principal general accountabilities being:
Ensuring compliance with all statutory and regulatory reporting requirements
Implementation and monitoring of the Group's accounting policies and internal control frameworks
Integrity of the numbers by delivering accurate, reliable and timely financial information
Driving Future of Finance simplification agenda, ensuring consistency with objectives and a focus on continuous improvement
Embedding a robust governance culture
This is an individual contributor role responsible for delivering change in HFC Institutional ex-Markets under one of three core teams (Data & Reporting, Cost & Consolidation, Revenue). Key responsibilities include:
Ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of delivery of outputs to support financial control activities and to enable business objectives to be achieved
Supporting the implementation of centralised, standardised processes and controls
Embedding a support/engagement model to address varying stakeholder needs
Maintaining financial integrity and controls in all processes
Ensure all issues are escalated in an appropriate and timely manner in accordance with our policies and procedures
You will be expected to embed the ICARE values in your day-to-day activities.
About You
Chartered Accountant (CA) or CPA or equivalent
Professional experience in Finance roles preferably with experience in banking or audit
Strong interpersonal skills
Solid working knowledge of financial control within a financial services environment
Identification and effective execution of improvements to processes or reporting
Ability to explore and work with emerging technologies
