As we look to the future, we are seeking a world-class Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting and IFRS Accounting based in ROHQ, Binan, Philippines. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (other duties may be assigned):
Facilitates and serves as gatekeeper of the IFRS ledger.
Performs monthly IFRS Consolidation runs in the system.
Analyzes financial statements, footnote disclosures, other financial data and specific
disclosures under IFRS books.
Performs monthly reconciliation and ensures all entries roll from GAAP to IFRS in the system.
Coordinates multiple projects cross-functionally related to IFRS Accounting.
Participates in external reporting systems' implementation, including automation efforts and other improvements related to IFRS ledger.
Participates and assists in resolving Oracle (systems) errors encountered in IFRS ledger.
Coordinates with corporate finance departments and operational finance teams regarding financial reporting-related deliverables.
Performs Financial Reporting functions related to the following:
Conducts quarterly contract reviews and prepares disclosures for possible financial impacts.
Prepares and files quarterly government surveys for Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA).
Prepares footnote disclosures for various accounts for the 10-K/10-Q quarterly and annual filing.
Performs other ad hoc analyses as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: · Applies intermediate subject matter knowledge, including principles, theories and concepts, to solve a variety of common business issues. · Refers particularly complex issues to higher levels for resolution.
RELATED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Preferred requirements
Graduate of BS Accountancy and a CPA
At least 5 years of experience in Accounting in a multi-national environment
US GAAP and IFRS accounting knowledge
Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized
Able to handle multiple projects with the ability to budget time productively
Strong Microsoft Excel skills; Oracle and Fusion a plus.
Can work well at different levels of the organization and dynamic environment
Good written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
