Job Description
Will handle the SIEM support and implementations like Development and customization of Security operations center(SOC) dashboards, alerts, reports Builds advanced visualizations and Manage day-to-day operational and user support for SOC.
DUTIES & AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Support Security Operations Team in implementing unique use cases and views into the SIEM Web Dashboard.
Develop and Execute BCM plans and practices.
Develop and customize SIEM Apps and dashboards and build advanced visualization.
Implement integration between Security Platforms and Systems like SIEM,NAC,Firewall,Ticketing Systems,etc
Customize queries, promote advanced searching, forensics and analytics, and advance creative solutions to complex problems
Build data models
Manage knowledge objects (e.g. fields, extractions, tags, event types, lookups, workflow actions, aliases, macros, etc.)
Configure summary-based reports and data model acceleration.
Perform documentation of policies and procedures
Develop processes for basic security platform monitoring and handling for the Threat Hunting Operations Department.
Lead and are SME's for Security Platform projects that require integration.
REQUIREMENTS
Must Have
Minimum of 4-6 years work experience relevant to the role (SIEM, Programming and Systems Integration, IT systems/network administration
Graduate of B.S. in Computer Science/Engineering or any IT-related courses (should be a 4-5 years course).
Must have strong knowledge in SIEM (preferably Splunk) administration and development.
Must have Programming and Systems Integration skills.
Must have development or coding skills in any language. PHP and Python preferred.
With experience in SQL
Nice to Have
PHP or Python (preferrably with background)
Knowledgeable in developing in Cloud and standard environments
Hands-on experience in Server Operating System (Windows, UNIX/Linux) or network devices IT security systems administration (Firewall/VPN, Intrusion Prevention Systems, Antivirus/Anti-spam, URL filtering, Encryption, etc.).
Training in Information Security, ITSM, Project Management, Business Process Admin, & Quality - Preferably has certification: CCSA/CCSE, CCNA/CCNP, MCSA/MCSE, RHCT/RHCE, CEH, CISA/CISM/CISSP
