As a Security Officer at AirAsia Philippines, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of our operations, passengers, and assets. This multifaceted role requires an individual who is not only detail-oriented and knowledgeable about aviation security but also possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You will collaborate with various internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure that security standards are upheld in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
Key Functions:
Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a liaison between internal departments and government agencies to ensure compliance with security requirements. Collaborate effectively to implement security measures that align with company policies and regulatory standards.
Administrative Contributions: Perform administrative tasks that contribute to the overall security objectives of the department. Accurate documentation and record-keeping are crucial to maintaining the highest level of security standards.
Security Standards Monitoring: Monitor and evaluate aviation security standards to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements. Regularly assess and update security protocols in response to changing security landscapes.
Quality Control: Execute security quality control tasks in alignment with the established security program. Identify and rectify any discrepancies or vulnerabilities in security processes.
Security Assessments: Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the implementation of security standards across various operational areas. Provide insightful feedback and recommendations to enhance security measures.
Requirements:
Education: A college graduate with a preference for candidates who have completed Aviation Security training, demonstrating a solid understanding of aviation-specific security practices.
Technical Proficiency: Proficient in report writing with the ability to effectively communicate security-related information. Familiarity with Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides is essential for efficient documentation and collaboration.
Interpersonal Skills: Possesses the ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with both internal departments and external agencies. Effective communication and collaboration are vital in this role to ensure a coordinated security approach.
Adaptability: Capable of adapting to varying work shifts and emergency situations, maintaining a high level of alertness and preparedness to address security concerns promptly.
Continuous Learning: A willingness to learn and embrace new work processes is essential for achieving organizational objectives and staying updated on evolving security practices.
