Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create and implement security standards, policies and procedures
- Plan, direct or coordinate security activities to safeguard company assets, employees, guests, or others on company property
- Monitor security policies, programs or procedures to ensure compliance with internal security policies, licensing requirements or applicable government security requirements, policies and directives
- Conduct, support or assist in governmental reviews, internal corporate evaluations or assessments of the overall effectiveness of the facilities security processes
- Prepare reports or make presentations on internal investigations, losses or violations of regulations, policies and procedures
- Analyze and evaluate security operations to identify risks or opportunities for improvement
- Identify, investigate or resolve security breaches
- Collect and analyze security data to determine security needs, security program goals or program accomplishments
- Communicate security status, updates and actual or potential problems, using established protocols
- Attend meetings, professional seminars or conferences to keep abreast of changes in executive-legislative directives or new technologies impacting security operations
- Manage and monitor the control room staff and systems ensuring all duties are carried out in accordance with the company procedures and policies
- Manage and operate effectively the CCTV Control Room and system ensuring that all work is undertaken is in compliance with the operating procedures, legislation and codes of practice for the prevention of crime
- Monitor and ensure timely completion of Incident reports/statements as required and to maintain record of events during an incident
- Maintain crisis management plan
- Identify enrichments to the crisis management program and processes as necessary
- Detect and track action items resulting from testing and live events
- Construct and assist in the execution of test plans as related to crisis management and safeguarding tests are conducted according to the test plan
- Analyze impact and risks essential to business functions or information systems and identify acceptable recovery time periods and resource requirements
- Develop emergency management plans for recovery decision making and communications, continuity of critical departmental processes or temporary shut-down of non-critical departments to ensure continuity of operation and governance
- Develop disaster recovery plans for physical locations with critical assets such as data centers
- Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization
- Perform other tasks or duties that are deemed fit by management from time to time
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in any field
- Preferably has Master's or PhD degree
- Has at least 5-8 years of relevant security experience preferably in the IT industry
- Has 5 years of experience as a Supervisor specialized in Security/Armed Forces/Protective Services or equivalent
- Has 3 years of direct experience in handling teams
- Has direct experience in handling and actual operations of physical security monitoring operations
- Has direct experience in incident response, containment and management
- Has direct experience in policies and procedures for CCTV operations, security, and disaster recovery and business continuity
- Has experience in working in a financial or technology company
- International or local certification in Security and Safety is a plus
- Willing to work in Makati
- Willing to start ASAP
