SECURITY GUARD
 
Job Purpose: Responsible for providing security and safety care to protect guests, associates, and their belongings, while also ensuring the overall safety and security of the hotel property.
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervise all security guards, monitoring their performance and preparing proper documentations and reports.
Report any suspicious persons, activities, or hazardous conditions to the management.
Ensure the hotel operates safely, adhering to company policies for reporting accidents and incidents.
Conduct orientation for new security guards, including customer service training and proper radio handling and communication.
Conduct periodic safety checks in each area of the hotel, submit recommendations to management.
Complete security checks at hourly intervals throughout the day.
Maintain a logbook and accurate records of activities during the shift, consolidating them into a Security Report to be submitted daily.
Monitor all areas of the hotel (gym, hallways, parking area, etc.).
Manage the entire operations, staffing, and equipment of the Security Department, coordinating closely with the security service provider.
Through close supervision, recommend improvements and changes to the Security Department's operation, especially in creating service standards for the hotel.
Conduct regular exterior and interior patrols of the hotel premises.
Ensure the safety and security of the parking area, confirming that all doors around the hotel are properly locked, and guest-occupied rooms are quiet and in order.
Monitor alarms and make arrangements for evacuation in case of emergencies.
Education and Work Experience Requirements:
Preferably a graduate in Criminology or equivalent.
At least 1 year of working experience in the same position.
Alert and able to meet deadlines.
Emphasizes the proper execution of security procedures.
Possesses good communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexible and accommodating.
