SECURITY GUARD
 
Description of Duties:
Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property, and monitoring surveillance equipment, and access points.
Keep a complete record of all visitors including the time of arrival and departure, daily logs of activities, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
Respond to alarms and calls of security concerns.
Provide excellent customer service.
Protect the company's assets relative to theft, assault, fire, and other safety issues.
Controls traffic by directing drivers at parking lots.
Report to the property officer or manager regarding issues resolved, those needing attention, and those currently in progress.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience Required:
Possess a Highschool Diploma or equivalent required
At least 2yrs work experience as a Security Guard
Excellent interpersonal, and customer service skills
Good oral and written communication skills
Must be eligible to be licensed to carry a weapon
Must willing to work on holidays and/or weekends, if required
Must be mentally & physically fit to do the job
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Problem-solving skills with an analytical thought process
