Towards that end, he/she ens About the Role The Security Architect is responsible for assisting the IT Security Head and Senior IT Security Architect in protecting BPI's infrastructure, systems, and information against internal and external threats. Towards that end, he/she ensures that the bank employs the proper security architecture with multi-layered defenses which, at the minimum, adheres to industry and regulatory security standards. He/she provides expert advice and opinions for IT project teams, develops integrated processes, and takes advantage of technology to counter attacks from threat actors ranging from lone wolves, to criminal syndicates, and to state-sponsored groups. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or other related courses At least 2 years' experience in a similar role At least 2 years' experience in leading a technical team or project management for IT security systems implementation Experience of at least 5 years in the IT industry Experience of at least 4 years in the financial industry IT security-related certifications would be an advantage (i.e., CISM, CISSP, CISA)
