In accordance with IT Security policies and standards, this position will provide specialized security knowledge and advice to secure our IT infrastructure and Global Network while developing risk-based control capabilities to improve our overall security posture. The Analyst will partner with the business to assist in recommending and implementing security and information protection technologies including end-point security solutions, network technologies - firewalls, VPN's, intrusion detection/prevention systems, etc. As well as server & database authentication, authorization, and accountability systems. Must have the ability to exercise good judgement and recommend risk-based compensating controls when dealing with legacy systems and/or as required by management. . Support the cybersecurity team and architects with enterprise projects and the secure implementation/operations of enterprise networks and systems including: access control systems, network security controls, network & host based intrusion prevention systems, enterprise event monitoring, ingress/egress filtering, ethical hacking, due diligence, and incident response. . Support the on-going development of enterprise IT security management and risk mitigation strategies. .Aid in the planning of medium IT security and risk based projects. . Extensively participate, recommend, and support all phases of security engineering activities including concept definition, requirements analysis, design, development, integration, installation, operations, maintenance, and decommissioning. . On an as-needed basis, in conjunction with Information Security risk management, engage in security review and consultation during the design and implementation phases of new and existing projects to analyze areas of security concern. Align these project efforts with company policy, industry best practices, and regulatory mandates as applicable. . Identify security design gaps in existing and proposed architectures and recommend changes or enhancements. . Aid in the overall Cybersecurity Risk Management Program and assist with strategic initiatives to improve the overall Cybersecurity posture of the enterprise. . Support, maintain, and provide guidance on systems such as firewalls, IPS/IDS, and end-point security solutions. . Ensure platform accessibility and best practices are maintained. . Prepare ad-hoc analysis and reports as needed. . Perform other duties and participate in special IT projects, as requested, to continually improve/upgrade the security infrastructure. . Partner/support other IT and Security Engineers and Architects to provide Information Security Support . Develop, document and improve Global Security policies, standards, and processes as directed. . Consistently delivers thorough and accurate analysis, demonstrating strong analytical and problem solving skills. . Adaptable to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment, without sacrificing quality of work product. . Makes recommendations to overall organizational security strategy with leadership . Assists senior leadership in the development of security policies, standards, and strategies . Performs or participates in security audits, identifies security gaps, and develops and implements risk mitigation solutions . Knowledge of operating system, end-point, network infrastructure, systems/database, and application level vulnerabilities. .Ability to recommend and design compensating controls . Excellent understanding of complex networking . Excellent understanding of systems hardening capabilities . Strong problem solving and analytical skills . Excellent organizational skills. . Ability to prioritize and meet multiple deadlines. . Ability to follow through on projects or to initiate follow-through as needed. . Ability to work independently and in a team environment . Strong documentation and written communication skills At least one of the following: CISSP, CEH, MCSE, OSCP, CISA, CISM, SANs, AWS Solution Architect + Security, or Azure Solutions Architect and/or other industry standard security certifications
