SEASONAL CASHIER
 
The position will provide a seamless and friendly checkout experience for our customers. The role is crucial in ensuring accurate transactions, delivering exceptional customer service, and maintaining a well-organized checkout area.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Process Transactions: Accurately handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions. Operate the register, ensuring all purchases are processed correctly and efficiently.
Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, address their inquiries, and assist with any issues or concerns. Ensure a positive shopping experience by providing courteous and professional service.
Maintain Checkout Area: Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies. Ensure that merchandise and promotional materials are neatly presented.
Handle Returns and Exchanges: Process returns and exchanges in accordance with store policies, ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to procedures.
Manage Cash Drawer: Count and balance cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift. Report any discrepancies and follow security protocols.
Assist with Store Operations: Support other store functions as needed, including restocking shelves, organizing displays, and assisting with inventory management.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a cashier or in a retail environment is a plus but not required.
Strong numerical and cash-handling skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
