Duties and Responsibilities:
• Report directly to the Team Leader
• Coordinate between the company and external vendors and contractors about IT-related infrastructure and development and offer best practice help and advice as required
• Consult with the company's internal departments/teams on any issues that might come up and advise about potential fixes or efficiency controls
• Work in a team environment and be the go to Specialist for problem solving and be a Specialist champion
• Responsible for mentoring and advising other team members
• Responsible for ensuring best practice is followed
• Write technical blogs and participate in PR when required
• Ensure all required certificates, training etc. is up to date
• Help with interview process when required for specific roles
• Work across teams when required to ensure high quality delivery
• Interface with the client to problem solve
• Introduce an internal Knowledge Base
Qualifications and Experience:
• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related
• Proven work experience in a similar role
• Ability to mentor or advise team members
• Knowledge of C#, Entity Framework, BDD, Specflow and Selenium
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• High attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and part of a team
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Responsive and a highly productive professional
• Ideally with API Testing knowledge (Postman or similar)
• Manual Testing background - if in test planning would be an advantage
