SDC Test Delivery Manager
What this role is about
Whenever the New JTI delivers an SAP solution release or implements a major project directly related to our core systems, it is necessary for us to perform a global set of tests to ensure that the newly implemented functionality has not had any adverse effects on the normal business processes within JTI. The purpose of this Global Test Lead position is to interact with the suitable Business and IT stakeholders to set quality expectations, articulate them as product log items (test log), and then manage and coordinate the outsourced SDC test team to fulfill them, particularly via the preparation and execution of Regression Test (RT). The ultimate objective is to ensure that there is no impact on current functionalities due to release & project changes.
What will you do
Prepare and execute great testing for the New JTI SAP solution to find defects before the go-live, build trust in new releases, and inject quality into it
Revisit frequently test strategy, test approaches, test tools, etc., to make sure the SDC test team is aligned with the industry's best practices
Contribute to reducing the number of failures encountered post-go-live in the production landscape
Discuss and set proper expectations around testing with all stakeholders, such as Key Users, Markets, Global Business Services (GBS), other IT teams, etc., via fluent relationships
Lead, coordinate, and manage the outsourced testers team
Participate in vendor testing partner management: services definition, contract negotiation, tracking & oversight, control, etc.
Manage the fundamental test process
Collaborate to define and keep up to date with the IT project management methodology on the testing front
Be a testing subject matter expert for the IT organization and a person to go for expert testing advice and assistance
What are we looking for
Master's Degree or equivalent in engineering or technical science
ISTQB certifications: foundation test manager (nice to have)
8+ years in a multi-national environment with exposure to systems implementation and maintenance
5+ years of experience in Software Testing
3+ years of experience in SAP
2+ years experience leading a Project Testing Team.
2+ years of experience in an international environment, distributed IT teams, working with and coordinating third-party off-shore teams
Fluent in written and spoken English.
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Testing and SAP tools: Testing Process, ALM Quality Center, Solution Manager, etc.
SAP good cross-overall functional knowledge
Good knowledge and hands-on experience in the test industry state-of-the-art: automation, trends, etc.
Knowledge of Business processes in the Consumer goods sector
