1. Provides health assessment by taking their weight, height, vital signs and assessing their general well-being.
2. Distributes and retrieves the students' health forms and use it as a basis of the students' health status.
3. Administers over the counter drugs for minor ailments and provide specific interventions according to the client's health needs.
4. Refers students to other community health resources for further management in case of serious illnesses and injuries that are beyond a school nurse's scope.
5. Promotes control of communicable diseases.A school nurse should also act as a health specialist by encouraging the clients to prevent communicable and infectious diseases.
6. Assists any health-related activities. A school nurse is also tasked to assist activities that he or she conducts such as medical and dental examinations and other health-related activities.
7. Evaluates client's progress towards attaining better health by continuously monitoring and documenting client's progress.
8. Performs other duties that may be assigned by the immediate superior when and where applicable.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: Php10,000.00 per month
