Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Assists the Physician in the consultation, examination, and treatment of patients.
2. Refers medical and dental cases of the University community to the University
Physician.
3. Dispense medicines only prescribed by the Physician.
4. Ensures the availability of medicines, medical and dental supplies in the clinic.
5. Updates Health Records of patients and keep it with due care and confidentiality.
Property Custody and Inventory Management
1. Maintains a record of equipment, furniture, fixtures and its functionality in all clinic
assigned
2. Implements prompt property repair and maintenance to prevent damage of clinic
instrument and equipment
3. Monitors Inventory and prepares orders to refill medicines and supplies in the clinic
4. Prepares purchase requests by verifying specifications and price; obtaining
recommendations from suppliers for substitute items;obtaining approval from
requesting personnel
Record Keeping
1. Make template for a reporting and recording system
Qualifications:
Registered Nurse
Able to respond well in emergency medical situations
Ability to work with Word and Excel
Organization and time management skills
Communication and interpersonal skills
