In this role you will be situated full time in Kitimat, BC supporting our LNGC project.
You will be fully supported as you continue to build your skills, support a schedule driven project where the emphasis will be on people, client interface, development, and management.
. Erecting and dismantling temporary scaffolding to support crew members in the construction, repairing, and maintenance of a building or other human-made structure
. Following safety guidelines and regulations
. Using hand and power tools to erect and dismantle scaffolding
. Maintaining and repairing scaffolding and other temporary structures after their use
. Inspecting the quality of a scaffold to ensure it's in good condition and meets the industry standards
. Coordinating and assisting with other crew professionals as part of daily tasks
. Maintaining records and documentation of scaffolding activities
Basic Job Requirements
. Craft certification, training, and experience appropriate for assignment scope
. Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
. Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
. Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
. Generally responsible to assure all work undertaken is within approved scope boundaries and is in full compliance with all pertinent requirements
. Comfort with heights
. A safety-conscious attitude
. Precision
. Strength and stamina
. Coordination, agility and balance
. The ability to work as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
. Certified Scaffolder issue by a recognized training provider
. Demonstrated strong decision making, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
