Assignment Detail Industry: IT Consulting/Services Job Description SAP BO Designer Work Scope * Design & creation of reporting data model (BO universe) * Design & creation of reports (Client-out, query, and reporting logic (filter, aggregat Assignment Detail Industry: IT Consulting/Services Job Description SAP BO Designer Work Scope Design & creation of reporting data model (BO universe) Design & creation of reports (Client-out, query, and reporting logic (filter, aggregation) logic Creation of SQL queries or if needed PL/SQL needed by the universe Plan & conduct testing, incl. deployment to prod, following DB SDLC standards Creation of Tech specs & other documentation Conduct User Training & hand-over to L1/L2/L3 Out of scope: Requirement will come from the users UAT will be conducted by the users Skill requirement: SAP Business Objects Proficient in Business Object admin, WEBI & other BO component's functionalities to design & build the reports needed for Australia's financial reporting requirement Minimum of 3 years in using Business Objects in design & development of a reporting solution capacity Experience & expertise on data modeling to create the universe model needed to address the reporting requirement. Knowledge of various data structure principles (star scheme, snowflake, and dimensional data modeling) Knowledge of BO best practices' design principles to suitably manage large volume of data and query optimization Experience & expertise on design & build of appropriate security configuration to meet access limits requirement of the reports Oracle SQL Knowledge of Oracle relational data model for sourcing and creation of subsequent reporting data model in Business Objects needed for the reports & queries Knowledge in creation of PL/SQL function to build complex retrieval or aggregation rules, if needed by the universe model Minimum 3 years experiences in developing Oracle SQL queries or PL/SQL function Others skills: Conversant in Financial Reporting language to carry-out appropriate conversation in gathering requirement from the users Has experience in building MI reporting or business intelligence analytical reporting in the past Intuitive enough to understand business questions a particular report request is intended to answer or address, so this person can build a report that can answer that question and at the same time, can anticipate the next question that the users hasn't asked yet (gain holistic view of the picture / total solution, instead of piecemeal)
