Position Summary:
In this engineering role, you will be supporting cloud-based infrastructure applications, and Zuora. You will be hands on and enjoy creating. You desire to be a full stack developer and love working in an Agile environment. You probably have a GitHub profile that you would love to build. We're looking for someone who values and cares about the big picture but can execute today.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Understand business domain quickly and work closely with sales, marketing, customer care, and operations to rollout new software functionality or features.
Develop/Test on or other software modules as part of an agile scrum team.
Development in support of API's and 3rd party integrations.
Build Communities using Apex, Lightning Web Components.
Document and develop code according to specifications and standards.
Prepare test data and plan and conduct basic unit or module testing.
Provide support for quality assurance testing and defect resolution.
Participate in project team meetings and communicate effectively with peers, architects, system analysts, business analysts, project managers, quality control, and across other technology team boundaries, reporting project status as required.
May be required to be on call to provide support on a need-to basis.
Use a distributed versioning system to manage code.
Use web front end technologies to develop front end modules.
Basic Skills and Qualifications:
Platform Developer I Certification
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science
5 years of software engineering experience (Salesforce/Lightning Web Components/APEX/Visualforce)
Understanding of Agile principles
Organized and able to solve complex problems as they arise
Self-starter and problem solver, willing to jump in and learn on the job
Able to document software effectively
Fluent English
Preferred Qualifications:
Engineering experience on Salesforce or similar cloud-based platform
Previous experience developing on business applications and web development
