Sales Support Specialist (Engineer)

Join us as Sales Support Specialist for the Electrification Business, Smart Power where you will be supporting the sales assigned organization (Division and Market) and customers throughout the proposal process by preparing technical descriptions of the applied products and technology, determining costs, preparing final documentation, and serving as a key technical resource in the assigned area. This position will be based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Other locations to be discussed.
Your responsibilities
Offering technical advice and providing comment on enquiry specifications for customers/channels/sales specialists about ABB products/systems/ applications
Proposing technical solutions for complex enquiries and preparing, delivering technical presentations and demonstrations for both internal staff and customers on complex product issues
Offering product/ solution/service related training and preparing , checking technical articles for publication
Implementing global standards, rules, tools, policies and processes related to operations/project execution and sharing functional best practices and lessons learnt across the organization
Providing information to the risk review process in accordance with ABB policy and sometimes participating in the risk review assessment
Performing lost proposal analysis, identifying potential cause, and recommending future actions in cooperation with Sales/Local Business Unit to obtain better future results
Your background
Bachelor degree in Power Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical or related field
About 3+ years of experience in working with UPS Systems in the Data Center and Industrial market or similar field
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
A collaborative, solution-focused approach with strong written and spoken communication skills
Fluent in English, both oral and written
