Responsible for the daily sales activity and able to assist BDM on quotation and other related sales activity.
Ensuring 90% closed/secured business thru RFQ.
Ensures to submit RFQ prior to its deadline and start of the business transactions.
Ensuring that all transactions to be processed remains legally compliant.
Ensuring that all sales activities/transactions are carried on appropriately; with effective cost-profit technique.
Ensuring quality performance to meet the KPIs and to avoid penalty and surcharges.
Analyze the transaction, plan and coordinate with operations team.
Coordinate operational solution with the team for effective cost-profit technique.
Provide solution for advance quality of customer service.
Assist and provide operation solution/info and ideas to clients in order to secure business.
Positive thinker and aggressive to achieve the target and objective of the branch as a whole.
Provides monthly KPI meeting with Operation to ensure all client's requirement are meet.
Monitors status of Corrective and Preventive Actions, if required.
Monitors Profit Sharing allocations and checks the Job Files for any PS irregularities thru operation team.
Requirements
Competency Requirement/s:
Graduate of BS Customs Administration; Transport management or any 4years course.
Good ethics; hardworking with determination.
Keen to details.
Generate sales leads & secure new business.
Build & maintain good relationship & trust with customer.
Able to adapt new environment and company culture.
Fast learner.
Courageous to take the lead for merit decision.
Resourceful
Experience Required:
Has minimum of 3years working experience as Customer Service and/or Sales Assistant in an International Freight Forwarding, Logistics or Shipping company.
Has working experience on project cargo, is plus factor.
Has working experience with overseas counterpart and agents thru excellent communication.
Rates negotiation from 3rd party suppliers.
Was able to handle customer complaint without any penalty.
Knowledge and Skills:
Excellent Analytical Skills.
Generate sales leads
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
Has good decision-making ability and solution provider.
Has excellent understanding on shipping incoterms.
Has knowledge & experience in Export and Import documentation and its customs process.
Has knowledge on Sales & Marketing processes.
