Job Overview:
Achieves maximum sales profitability & volume growth by increasing product placement and distribution reach. Listen to customer requirements and present appropriately to make a sale. Keep and increase business share of customers.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Achieve sales targets and manage trade accounts receivables
Build good working relationships with customers
Understand the needs of your business customers / listen to customer requirements and present appropriately to make a sale
Present the product or service favorably and in a structured professional way face-to-face. / Create detailed proposal documents, often as part of a formal bidding process which is largely dictated by the prospective customer
Negotiate the terms of an agreement and close sales. / Challenge any objections with a view to getting the customer to buy
Research the market and related products
Cold call to arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business
Check the quantities of goods on display and in stock
Represent the company at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations
Gather market and customer information. / Feed future buying trends back to employers.
Keeps abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consulting with marketing and technical service areas.
Qualifications:
Candidate must be a graduate of any 4-year course
At least 3 years sales-related work experience
Good interpersonal and communication skills, including presentations skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong sense of initiative and great time management skills
Responsible and strong sense of ownership
Willing to be trained locally and abroad
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
