As a Sales Manager-VisMin Region, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining (business area/division/product group) effective sales strategy in specified market scope (global/regional/local) in order to improve ABB market penetration and realize growth aspirations in the assigned scope. Reporting to Local Marketing and Sales Head, you will be setting, planning and ensuring execution of (business area/division/product group) sales strategy within the assigned scope (global/regional/local), to achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets for products, systems and/or services in a profitable way: order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, sales productivity, and customer satisfaction. This position is based in Cebu City, Philippines.
Your responsibilities
Creating, planning and implementing global/regional/local sales strategy and strategic business development initiatives for the business area/division/product group
Defining key sales targets and establishes appropriate metrics and measurement tools to monitor performance
Anticipating and identifying shortfalls in performance and taking appropriate remedial action. Driving top line growth
Identifying and evaluating opportunities with existing and potential new customers on a global/local basis, determines plans for implementation and allocates resources
Building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision makers in customer and potential customer organizations
Identifying, monitoring and maintaining/exceeding the sales market price levels, evaluating with Product Management pricing impact on the results
Supporting local sales organizations to ensure achievement of sales volume and product mix targets
Monitoring client financial status and reports any changes regarding risk to relevant internal partner teams
Your background
Tertiary or degree qualifications in Engineering (electrical) / commercial qualification or recognized
Minimum 5-8 years of experience in sales besides experience in managing and leading a team is plus
Deep knowledge and understanding on the Market intelligence
Computer literacy and competent in using SAP (preferable), MS Word, MS Excel and MS Project Salesforce are essential
Advanced technical knowledge and commercial aspects of business
Excellent communications and negotiations skills
Experience in financial reporting and will be comfortable tracking costs
