Role Overview
The Sales Lead will play a pivotal role in guiding the Sales Team towards achieving the company's revenue goals and targets. This individual will provide strategic leadership, drive sales initiatives, and foster collaboration among cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
Develop a comprehensive business plan encompassing sales, revenue, and expense controls.
Set and meet ambitious sales targets, both at the team and individual levels.
Monitor sales progress and offer timely reporting on outcomes.
Lead and inspire the sales team while overseeing their performance.
Collaborate with the creative and marketing departments to optimize lead generation efforts.
Foster growth by engaging e-commerce platforms and other partners.
Establish and nurture promotional partnerships with marketplaces to bolster business growth.
Manage departmental budgets effectively.
Identify novel revenue streams and opportunities to amplify sales figures.
Analyze data to gain insights into shopper behavior and competitive trends, ensuring a strong market presence.
Collaborate with Logistics and Purchasing to ensure accurate forecasting and inventory management.
Partner with Product Development for innovative product strategies.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years experience in strategizing and executing sales plans.
Proven expertise in customer relationship management.
Successful track record in leading and directing sales teams.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Dedicated to delivering outstanding customer service.
Proficient in team leadership and management.
In-depth understanding of the beauty and personal care landscape.
Experience within FMCG, Beauty, E-commerce, or Personal Care sectors is highly desirable.
