Overall purpose of job
To establish direct customer sales operations in the Philippines
To liaise and manage existing customers in the Philippines
To provide customers and resellers the most suitable equipment selection for the required application.
To rapidly market and grow the company's products to new prospects in a strategically planned manner and geographically expand sales network in the Philippines.
To offer solutions that satisfy any application/budget/timescale constraints in line with customers' needs.
To monitor the progression of any relevant job/project through purchasing, shipment to successful commissioning.
Production of relevant documentation to assist with the above and aid any subsequent orders that may follow.
Provide technical guidance and assistance to other departments as required.
Main duties and responsibilities
Aggressive marketing by visitations, product demonstrations, site trials to existing customers and prospects in a planned approach
Liaising with customers and the sales team and supply factories to produce a specification
Interpret specifications and generate accurate costings for all products
To provide detailed quotations both verbal and written for standard and engineered solutions with minimum delay.
To provide customers and potential customers with accurate technical information sufficient to enable sound decisions to be made on the purchase and use of the company's products.
To handle orders as per departmental procedures, including liaison with other departments, suppliers and customers as necessary.
Ensure all associated files both electronic and hard copy are kept up to date.
Sourcing non-standard equipment when necessary
To regularly attend selected exhibitions and provide necessary market reports/ trends
To participate in the efficient day to day running of the company and to work closely with others.

Education and Experience Requirements:
Formal relevant engineering qualifications or strong business background
Preferably with Experience in Fluid Handling industry (Pumps)
Proficient in both English writing and reading competencies

Computer competencies required for this position
Computer literate, able to create correspondence in Word.
Able to use Excel/Access to analyze, collate, and present data
Able to use Outlook for e-mail and appointment tracking purposes.
Has knowledge of and some experience working with an ERP system (Enterprise Resource Planning)
Must continue to grow with existing and upcoming technology in an effort to become increasingly efficient.
Specific requirements for completing essential functions of the position:
Ability and willingness to travel nationally within the Philippines as required.
In a periodic manner, the ability and willingness to travel regionally and internationally for training and conferences as required.
