Description
Job Functions:
• Implements technical expertise and sales strategies in order to sell new business to new and existing
accounts in a defined territory or market and converting accounts to a higher level of sales.
• Responsible for generating sales, meeting agreed sales targets, and business development to ensure
sustainable growth.
• Plays a lead role in driving cross-regional sale team and internal employees to penetrate key accounts
and aggressively expand relationships.
• Interacts with applications team and sophisticated customers on highly complex applications to
translate customer requirements to product designs.
• Reviews technical specifications and uses technical knowledge to identify and select appropriate
products to meet customer needs.
• Prepares formal quotations and offers for customers.
• Work closely with the Sales Manager to assist in business functions like sales forecasting, building a
strong business pipeline, updating CRM/ Sales Funnel and other activities as required.
• Develop and maintain an active opportunity pipeline for all accounts allocated.
• Gathers detailed information about accounts, identifies decision-makers, understands strategic
business challenges and priorities, and leads team in analyzing information and prioritizing
opportunities critical to accounts.
• Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management
resources, in order to meet account performance objectives and customers' expectations.
• Ensures professional sales coordination and account planning and resolves possible account
ownership issues.
• Provides ongoing support (technical and commercial) to customers ensuring they receive high quality
customer service.
• Monitors industry trends and changing regulations to ensure competitiveness and compliance.
• Provides technical and commercial support to the internal and external sales teams.
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or suitable combination of education and experience.
• Two to four years of related product or sales experience required.
• Excellent sales and customer service skills with a proven ability to explain technical products to non-
technical audiences.
• Ability to apply engineering, technology, or other related principles to product sales.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Team player that's reliable and enjoys working in a high-performance team culture.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Experience in managing major national accounts at head office level.
• Strong account management and relationship building skills.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
• Demonstrated record of achievement in a prior sales position.
• Strong closing skills.
• Proven oral, written, telephone and presentation skills. Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to learn and retain produce specific information and utilize to position the features and benefits
to customers.
• Computer literate with knowledge of all Microsoft Office Application especially excel.
• Valid driver's license.
• Communication, Customer Service Orientation, Flexibility, Optimism, Planning, Integrity, Inclusion,
Engagement, Responsibility, transparency and performance with a sense of urgency.
