SALES ENABLEMENT
 
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
 
The Sales Enablement Specialist is primarily responsible for supporting the revenue generation activities of the Laboratory Team. He/she provides the sales team with resources needed to effectively engage customers within the buying process. This includes effective pricing guidance, gather market update, collect competitor information, and tracking important business metrics (e.g. sales performance, regressing/ growing customers, new product sale, inventory status, forecast)
KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop, maintain, and update a pricing database for the laboratory team
Coordinate with suppliers for discount and special pricing request
Ensure price offers are within acceptable margins
Point-of-contact (POC) of sales and bidding team for pricing requirement
Collect market information (e.g. trends, potential new customers, etc.)
Gather and share competitor information focusing on pricing, marketing and sales strategy
Monitor KPI's and periodically share the status to the sales and management team (e.g. sales performance vs. target/ growth, new product sale)
Monitor inventory status and track order cancellation
Support sales forecasting process
Work with marketing and assist in digital campaigns and promotion
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
Abide by and perform to the best of his/her abilities all functions, duties and responsibilities to be assigned by the Employer in due course;
Comply with the orders and instructions given from time to time by the Employer through its authorized representatives;
Shall not disclose any confidential information in respect of the affairs of the Employer to any unauthorized person;
Perform any other administrative or non-administrative duties as assigned by any representative of the Employer from time to time either through direct written order or by oral assignment
