SALES CONSULTANT
Job Summary:
The position is responsible in selling brand new Hyundai cars by understanding and demonstrating features, functions and benefits of a car; developing and qualifying customers and closing sales.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Understands and familiarizes automobiles by studying the functions, features and benefits of each model and variants. Differentiates our own models and variants with that of the competitor by identifying the selling points and features of each cars.
Develops sales by maintaining rapport with previous customers, suggesting trade-ins if necessary, meeting qualified prospects during different marketing activities, meeting and greeting walk-in customers, responding to inquiries and recommending sales campaigns and promotions.
Qualifies customers by understanding customer’s needs and interest, matching these needs and interest to various available models and variants.
Demonstrates automobiles (vehicle walk around) by explaining the selling features, functions and benefits of each feature.
Facilitates and arranges test drive with the customer. Prepares the test drive unit ahead of the test drive schedule with the assistance of the PDI personnel.
Prepares sales quotation of the vehicle chosen by the customer, explains this computation to the customer and closes sales by overcoming objections.
Identifies customer’s preferable mode of payment either through cash transaction, purchase order or bank financing and offers option to the customer.
Assists the PDI Personnel in the preparation of the unit for releasing. Sees to it that all corresponding documents necessary for releasing are complete and signed by respective signatories.
Manages hand-over of the purchased vehicle to the customer. Demonstrates and explains all the features of the vehicle including the maintenance needed of the vehicle.
Explains to the customer the warranty and insurance coverage of the purchased unit including the necessary documents needed in claiming such.
Participates in all marketing activities initiated by the dealer. Maintains availability of records such as customer inquiry sheet for the ease of monitoring the sales generated from different marketing efforts.
Provides sales management information by completing reports.
Updates job knowledge by participating in training, seminars and reading professional publications.
Enhances dealership reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Job Qualifications:
Graduate of any four (4) years course
Strong customer service skills
Above average oral and written communication skills (proficient in English and local dialects)
Maintain a professional appearance
Knowledge in an automotive industry is an advantage
Driving skills is necessary
Hired SCs can get average comm and incentive of P20,000 to P80,000.00/month base on their sales productivity.
