Job Description:
 
We are seeking a Sales Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our team. As a BDR, your primary responsibility will be to generate new business opportunities through outbound sales calls, lead qualification with warm transfers, appointment setting, and handling customer inquiries via chat and email. This is a work-from-home position, allowing you the flexibility to work remotely.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Outbound Sales: Engage in outbound sales calls to potential customers, focusing on transferring their investments into precious metals. Utilize your strong sales experience and acumen to effectively communicate the value proposition and benefits of our services.
Lead Qualification and Warm Transfers: Qualify leads and facilitate warm transfers to the appropriate sales representatives based on customer needs and interests.
Appointment Setting: Schedule appointments for interested prospects to further discuss their investment options with our sales team.
Chat and Email Support: Respond to customer inquiries and provide timely assistance via chat and email channels.
Team Communication: Maintain excellent communication with team members, providing updates on customer interactions and collaborating to improve sales strategies.
Technical Skills: Utilize Salesforce and Thrio platforms proficiently to navigate customer records, track sales activities, and ensure accurate data entry.
Compliance: Follow and comply with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and Do Not Call (DNC) rules to maintain ethical and legal standards.
Qualifications:
Our ideal candidate for this Sales BDR position is a college-educated individual, who will primarily engage with individuals in their 60s. They should possess excellent communication skills and be dynamic in their speaking style.
Previous experience in phone sales, preferably with large ticket items, is highly valued.
No specific licenses are required for this role.
Credibility and trust play a crucial role in our prospects' decision-making process. It is essential for the salesperson to sound credible and refrain from using any form of dishonesty or pressure sales techniques. Our customers appreciate honest and transparent communication.
The use of SMS and email will be an integral part of this role. Pre-approved templates will be provided for routine communications. However, any external SMS or email communication beyond the templates will require initial approval. This ensures that our messaging remains consistent and aligns with our brand values.
Sales Experience: Demonstrated experience in sales, with a strong track record of achieving targets and generating new business opportunities.
Accent and Communication: Possess an accent-neutral or slight UK accent when speaking English to effectively communicate with customers.
Sales Acumen: Understand the sales process, ability to identify customer needs, and present solutions effectively.
Technical Proficiency: Proficient in navigating Salesforce and Thrio platforms to manage customer interactions and track sales activities.
Team Player: Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with TCPA and DNC rules to ensure adherence to legal and ethical guidelines.
