Job Description
The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building, and maintaining strong customer relationships, and driving revenue growth in foodservice channels. The successful candidate will be able to leverage their experience in sales and account management to develop and implement effective strategies to expand our customer base and increase sales.
Duties and Responsibilities:
. Develop and execute sales plans and strategies to increase revenue and market share in foodservice channels
. Identify, prospect, and generate new business opportunities to drive revenue growth
. Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within customer accounts
. Provide excellent customer service, including addressing customer complaints and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create customized sales presentations and proposals to educate customers about product features and benefits or address customer needs and preferences
. Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
. Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to management
. Meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics
Requirements:
. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred
. 2+ years of experience in foodservice sales or related field
. Experience in Distributor Management or Distributor Sales Operations is a plus
. Knowledge of foodservice industry, including market trends and competitive landscape
. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues
. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, most especially Excel and Powerpoint
. Willingness to travel, as needed
