The ideal candidate will be an experienced salesperson comfortable generating sales leads with new clients and maintaining relationships with existing ones. This candidate will be able to understand a prospective client's needs and offer an ideal solution. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and a positive track record of exceeding outlined goals.
Responsibilities:
Sales Management and Execution:
Manage a high-performing sales team, ensuring they meet or exceed individual and team sales targets.
Work closely with the sales team to close deals, providing support and guidance as needed.
Act as the primary point of contact for key customer accounts, understanding customer needs and delivering appropriate solutions.
Conduct outbound sales campaigns to generate new leads, and manage inbound sales inquiries, converting them into profitable sales.
Manage the sales cycle from prospecting to closure, ensuring a smooth transition to the account management team.
Team Leadership and Development:
Train and develop team members to enhance their product knowledge, sales skills, and overall performance.
Lead by example and foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and teamwork.
Conduct weekly one-on-one meetings with team members to provide feedback and support for their growth.
Establish a performance management process to regularly review team and individual performance.
Strategic Planning and Collaboration:
Collaborate with the Sales Director and other stakeholders to refine sales strategies and tactics, improving overall performance.
Assist in the development and implementation of sales targets and KPIs.
Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to senior leadership.
Customer Relationship Management:
Cultivate and maintain relationships with key clients, providing excellent customer service.
Understand client needs and provide appropriate solutions, seeking opportunities to upsell or cross-sell when possible.
Manage customer complaints and queries, ensuring timely resolution and high customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in SaaS sales, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Proven track record of managing sales teams and achieving sales targets.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in using CRM software and other sales enablement tools.
Comfortable working in a fully remote environment and adept at managing teams across different time zones.
Ability to work during Pacific Standard Time business hours.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with remote team management.
Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
Experience with selling in the tech industry.
