SAFETY SUPERVISOR (MINDANAO)
 
Job Description / Responsibilities:
Ensures compliance with all government safety and security operations, policies, and procedures utilizing identified best practices and risk management principles in the assigned sites by coordinating with site safety and security officer
Proactively assist organization’s senior leadership in identifying and assessing strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, risks, vulnerabilities and complex threats to safety and security operations
Monitors health and safety hazards in the Projects/Plants through the site Safety and Security Officer
Ensures that the Projects/Plants is legally compliant with all health and safety legislation
Facilitates the implementation of Health and Safety Programs in the assigned sites by coordinating with site Safety and Security Officer
Train and supervise safety and security officers and guards within the company and in the assigned areas.
Provide reports on incidents and breaches to Safety and Security Manager
Helps review and implement existing and new policies and procedures to ensure overall compliance with all regulatory agencies
Perform other tasks that may be assigned by the immediate superior and/or the management
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 yrs. experience in safety management
Extensive knowledge of health and safety protocols
Must be an OSH certified and practitioner in Philippine setting
BOSH Certified
Excellent attention to detail
Outstanding communication skills
Independent, yet a strong team player
Display strong teamwork, problem solving and solutions-oriented mindset
Ability to thrive and meet aggressive goals and timelines
