Is currently looking for:
 
SAFETY OFFICER
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Comply with Solid Waste Management Program, Clear Water Act, Clean Air Act, Hazardous Waste Management and ECC.
Comply with health OSH standards and regulations.
Develop and implement safety programs for the company.
Ensures observance of Corporate Safety Policy.
Liaise with DOLE, BFP, OBO and other related agencies with regards to health and safety regulations.
Warrants conformity of government regulations.
Submit reports as required by the regulatory agencies.
Secure permits from government agencies.
Conduct safety training and orientation of employees. Implement corrective and preventive actions on incidents and accidents.
Frequently monitor and inspect any health or safety aspect of the operation being undertaken with the participation supervisors and workers.
Assist government inspectors in the conduct of safety and health inspection at any time whenever work is being performed or during the conduct of accident investigation by providing necessary information and OSH report as required by the OSH standards.
Continually upgrade require trainings/licenses.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate in an Engineering field or its equivalent
Minimum of 2 years work experience as Safety Officer
Knowledgeable in Environmental Laws, Health & Safety regulations
Familiar in the implementation of Environmental & OSH Programs
With BOSH Training Certificates (40hrs)
Proficient in Microsoft applications
Physically fit for office/shifting schedule and field works.
