Job description
PRIMARY
Plan and implement OSH policies and programs
Advise and lead employees on various safety-related topics
Auditing workplace, keeping on the lookout for any unsafe behavior or breaks in regulations
Prepare educational seminars and webinars on a regular basis]
Review existing safety policies and procedures-Facilitate permits and other necessary requirements for the job at hand
Work with HR to set up a new employee on-boarding process for safety
Conduct risk assessment-Enforce preventative measures
Check if all the employees are acting in adherence with Safety rules and regulations
Prepare and present reports on accidents and violations and determine causes
-Oversee workplace repair, installations and any other work that could harm employees' safety-Creating analytical reports of safety data
Creating safety plans that include suggested improvements to existing infrastructure and business processes
Investigating causes of accidents and other unsafe conditions on the job site
Liaising with law enforcement and other investigators who are present at the time of a serious accident.
FACILITIES OFFICER
SECONDARY
Manage and monitor all improvement and/or repair projects in the facility, with regards to the timeline and timely reporting of replenishment of needed materials
Safe keep all tools and materials needed for improvement/repair projects in the facility
Ensuring that the following utilities and equipment are in good running condition: fire safety system, lighting system, plumbing, cooling system, electrical, structural
Handles and executes space planning-Handles building security
Implements a proper and efficient waste management system, as well as pest control
Implement the safety procedures, preventive and/or corrective maintenance of building-owned equipment.
Ensure cleanliness of work area/place at all times (this includes working on the clients place)
Accomplish any task assigned by superior/s
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be a Bachelor's Degree
Must have OSH Training
With proven experience as a Safety Officer
Willing to be assigned in Bustos, Bulacan
