QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidate must possess a 40 hours Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) Certificate
At least 1 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Graduate of B.S. Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or other related courses
JOB SUMMARY
Support the development of OHS policies and programs.
Oversee the overall management of the OSH program in coordination with the OSH committee.
Conduct risk assessment on the dealership and enforce preventative measures
Review and update existing policies and measures
Initiate and organize OHS training of team members
Inspect premises and the work of personnel to identify issues or non-conformity (e.g. not using protective equipment)
Oversee installations, building maintenance, disposal of substances etc.
Maintain a professional level of contact with Clients, Subcontractors and other relevant representatives on site.
Frequently monitor and inspect any health or safety aspect of the operation
Assist government inspectors in the conduct of safety and health inspection at any time whenever work is being performed
Investigate and submit the report for all incidents and dangerous occurrences.
Prepare reports on occurrences and provide statistical information to upper management
Keep statistical records of all medical cases and submit a report to the Project OHS Officer / Inspector on weekly and monthly basis.
Focal person for management emergency response to environmental, structural and employee incidents
