Acts in an advisory capacity on all matters pertaining to health and safety for the guidance of the employer and the workers.
Conduct investigation of accident as member of the health and safety committee and submit his separate report and analysis of accidents to the Engineering Manager.
Coordinates all health and safety training programs for the employees and employer.
Conduct health and safety inspection as member of the committee.
Maintains or helps in the maintenance of an efficient accident record system and coordinates actions taken by supervisors to eliminate accident causes.
Provides assistance to government agencies in the conduct of safety and health inspections, accident investigation or any other related programs.
Perform other job-related duties that may be assigned by superior.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Candidate must possess at least Engineering (Electrical), Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Industrial), Nursing, or equivalent.
2. With 5 years work experience in health and safety in a manufacturing industry.
3. Must have BOSH/COSH training.
4. With at least 48 hours of advanced/specialized occupational safety training course relevant to the industry.
5. With certification as OSH Practitioner.
6. Pro-active and with sense of urgency.-Requirements- Minimum education level: Bachelor ́s Degree
