Accredited Certificate in occupational health and safety.
SO2 Mandatory 40 hour Basic OSH Training course applicable to the industry.
In order to become a Pollution Control Officer, one has to be accredited by the DENR.
With at least 6 months of working experience in the related field.
Excellent communication skills.
Proficient in MS Office
Job Description:
Support the development of OHS policies and programs.
Advise and instruct on various safety-related topics (noise levels, use of machinery etc.)
Conduct risk assessment and enforce preventative measures.
Review existing policies and measures and update according to legislation.
Record and investigate incidents to determine causes and handle worker's compensation claims.
Handles other concerns in relation to enviromental issues as required by his/her company.
