Job Description
The Business Operations Manager will be responsible for providing program management support to the S&C industry leadership in Growth Markets. They act as subject matter experts supporting teams and applying deep expertise and knowledge to the industry leadership. This role may serve as the owner of key processes and assist the leads in managing industry governance, coordination for content and reporting, working with cross-industry program managers, budget management/tracking and related reporting. Will report to the Senior Manager PM and will provide support to the S&C Industry lead and to the MU leads.
Main responsibilities:
Be the point of contact for the industry within and outside team to ensure appropriate communication and timely response to requests.
Define and manage communications plan for the industry: including team calls, governance calls, agenda and materials to keep relevant stakeholders informed and engaged
Managing internal budgets and industry investments.
Support Industry MDs as needed with presentations for GMC, Learning, Monthly Governance, Quarterly State of Business and other Planning sessions
Support Industry leads in the execution of global industry strategy and work with Market Unit Industry Leads
Ensure regular meetings/communication with Global and Market Industry Leads
Keep Industry MD updated on all Industry requests that require response, often drafting the response for him
Manage industry dependencies internally within Growth Markets, and in alignment with global business operations
Support the Lead in managing and coordinating communication with the leadership and teams to ensure initiatives meet planned schedule, budget, and quality commitments
Track, measure and report industry costs, performance issues and risks
Manage project risks/issues by developing mitigation plans and escalating critical risks and issues that cannot be resolved
Work closely with the Business Services strategy to grow our business, coordinate sales support to the practice with recent pipeline and sales reporting
Support preparation and review of consolidated status reporting
Manage continuous improvement efforts for processes, tools, metrics and trainings based on ongoing experience, process metrics and feedback from stakeholders
Manage relationships with stakeholder groups and work with key individuals across corporate functions, finance, center of excellence, geographic units and the business to develop solutions
Overall management across the industry program, setting up various meetings to move the program forward and facilitating the discussions
Must Have:
Ability to effectively liaise with senior leadership to drive the industry agenda
Experience program managing large-scale initiatives
Strong background in PMO, Delivery Excellence and/or Delivery Leadership
Excellent written and communication skills
Ability to effectively manage a globally distributed team
Strong project management skills
Proven ability to work independently and as a team member
MMS/MMB tool knowledge
Advanced PowerPoint skills
Power BI dashboard skills
Good to have:
Highly proficient as end user of related operations tools/systems (MMS, Power BI, MMB, SAP etc.)
Understanding of Accenture business operations and reporting structure
Understanding of organization business processes and policies
Ability to work in a highly collaborative, influence-based model
Leadership and strategic thinking skills
Demonstrated bias for action
