What are we looking for:
We are searching for a passionate Ruby on rails. You will be working with our client who is a world leading, regulatory approved, no-code digital health platform that quickly & securely creates life changing health technology solutions. Our clients' mission is to improve patient lives by taking out the complexity of technology when creating and maintaining digital health.
Beyond your experience, we are also looking for someone who is professional and possesses impeccable English language communication skills in both written and verbal.
This role is 100% work from home.
In this role, you will:
Work with development teams and to ideate website solutions
Design, build, extend, and support a highly available and scalable infrastructure
Be involved in all phases of development, from ideation to release and tracking and analyzing the impact of created features
Thoroughly test your own code, from unit tests to automated end-to-end tests
Follow best practices (test-driven development, continuous integration, SCRUM, refactoring and code standards)
Drive continuous adoption and integration of relevant new technologies into the design
Provide leadership and critical input on the design of our technologies and services
About You:
Core qualifications:
Proven 3+ years of experience as a Ruby on Rails Developer
Proficient with web front-end languages and libraries such as JQuery, HTML/ CSS, JavaScript and XML
Excellent software development habits: unit testing, integration testing, data structures, etc.
Evidence of exposure to architectural patterns of a large, high-scale web application (e.g., well-designed APIs, high volume data pipelines, efficient algorithms).
Ability to develop highly interactive as well as user-friendly applications
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Highly organized with clear attention to detail
Self-driven with a strong desire to remain current on emerging digital technologies
Ability to collaborate with remote team seamlessly
Possesses interpersonal skills, team-working attitude takes initiatives and have excellent analytical skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science is preferred
