Job Functions:
• Design, develop, deliver, and enhance software products, applications systems
• Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic
• Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code
• Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications
• Implementation of security and data protection
• Integration of data storage solutions
Job Requirements:
• Graduate of bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology,
or any IT/Engineering related course
• With at least 3 years relevant work experience in Ruby on Rails application development
• Knowledgeable in software development lifecycles. Agile experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Open to learn other programming Technologies if need be Essential Technical Skills and Experience
• Syntax of Ruby and its nuances
• Object-oriented programming
• Front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Familiarity with concepts of MVC, Mocking, ORM, and RESTful
• A knack for writing clean, readable Ruby code
• Code versioning tools (Git, Mercurial or SVN)
