ROVING MERCHANDISER
The Roving Merchandiser is responsible for monitoring, supporting, and ensuring that merchandising standards are consistently implemented across all assigned mall locations. This role involves checking inventory levels, ensuring product displays are properly arranged, and verifying the attendance and performance of in-store merchandisers. The position requires frequent travel between malls and coordination with the sales, warehouse, and merchandising teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct regular visits to assigned mall branches (SM City Cebu Supermarket and Department Store, SM Seaside Supermarket and Department Store, Metro Colon to check inventory levels and product availability.
Ensure that products are properly displayed, well-stocked, and aligned with company merchandising standards.
Monitor and verify attendance of mall-based merchandisers; report any absences or performance issues to the supervisor/manager.
Take over merchandising duties at the above-mentioned malls whenever the assigned merchandiser is on day off, ensuring smooth store operations and consistent product availability.
Coordinate with store personnel and mall merchandisers to address display, stock replenishment, and promotional concerns.
Prepare and submit daily or weekly reports on inventory status, store visits, and observations.
Assist in implementing promotional activities and product launches in assigned malls.
Address and resolve merchandising concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Maintain good working relationships with store staff, mall management, and the internal sales/merchandising team.
Qualifications:
Senior High School graduate, vocational course, or college level/graduate.
At least 1 year of relevant experience in merchandising or retail
Holder of a valid Professional driver's license (Restriction Code 1, 2, or higher).
Able to drive a motorcycle for mall visits.
Good communication, observation, and reporting skills.
Physically fit and willing to travel extensively.
Can work independently with minimal supervision.
