Key Responsibilities/Primary Functions:
Verifies that LLD is constructible and contains all permits needed.
Assures the availability of resources from the subco ́s needed to fulfil the planned and agreed milestones.
Requests and collect documentation needed for the proper execution of the work.
Requests and collect necessary materials to start the work.
Requests technical documentation (Engineering rules for installation) for deployment and passive elements under construction.
Verify that the subco has the resources, the required documentation and the necessary material to start the construction of the assigned job.
Daily monitoring of installation progress according to agreed milestones.
Knowledge of the last version of technical documentation and facilitate this to subcontractors in order to monitor compliance of the deployment
Daily reporting to Project's responsible on progress and issues: manages collect of change request.
Provide technical solutions on issues occurred during Roll-Out.
Collects and check As-Built documentation provided by subcontractors
Verify that they are meeting all H&S procedures and activate in real time specific support if needed.
Provides support and guidance about the doubts that could arise to the construction companies with regard to the installation and testing of the passive elements, solving problems incidences directly or activating remote support in real time in order to avoid delay in the delivery.
Manage tests execution and measures delivered by the subcos in order to anticipate problems with final documentation and assure quality of the network deployed
Assures coherent subcontractor maps between regions in different projects and activities, including construction
Participate with procurement in FTTH subco strategy
Prepares subco workload, forecast and availability of resources
Tracks subcos performance and follow up of quality of installation
Generates specific monthly company assessment including key performance parameters (capacity, OTB, H&S compliance, documentation delivery, on top of construction quality) form operational point of view and incorporating EH&S assessment
Managing Site supervisors
Work closely with QA Manager to identify poorly performing teams
Attend weekly project meetings with subcon
Manage subcon performance evaluation and provide feedback to project delivery team
SPOC for subcontractor concern raised towards the project team
Manage detailed subcontractor database
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or relevant education with minimum 5 years of working experience in OSP
Excellent communication skills; fluent in both local native language and English
3-5 years documented experience in a management role within fixed network rollout and/or civil works and/or construction industry.
Must be able to work 5 days a week onsite regardless of the site location.
Very high comprehension of civil work and construction drawings and maps.
Highly adaptable and high resistant to stressful working environment.
Good risk analysis ability and structured administrator.
Expertise in MS Office. GIS & AutoCAD skills a plus.
