SUPPORT STAFF

Position Overview
PhotoUp is seeking a technical support agent with 1-3 years of previous experience in customer support. This position will be for live chat and email support only (no phone support). The applicant needs to have a basic working knowledge of websites, WordPress, web hosting, and customer support.
Ideal Candidate
You will be responsible for monitoring and answering questions received from customers via email or live chat. You will also assist in creating systems for future custom service agents (such as improving our FAQ database, improving customer response times, and so forth).
You will work in the same business unit as our operations allowing you to have direct interactions with the operation teams that service our clients.
The ideal candidate is a bright young individual who is driven to improve his/her professional skills, enjoys live interaction with clients, and a natural problem solver.
Applicant should be highly self-motivated, extremely organized, friendly, approachable, and a strong team player.
A college degree is not required if you possess adequate skills or have equivalent work experience but formal education is desirable. The ideal candidate has 1-3+ years of prior work experience but willing to accept less experience with the right applicant who is willing to work extra hard to study and get up to speed on industry standards.

Comfortable in Microsoft Word and Excel

Experience using cPanel web server/hosting software
Working knowledge of WordPress and basic IT skills is helpful
Experience using ZenDesk support software
Some previous customer support experience is a plus but not required
Some previous experience in the hospitality industry
A bachelor degree in Information Technology, Literature, English, or related study
Compensation
Pay starts at P15K per month on entry with the possibility to move to 17K after the probationary period depends on the performance.
5 days paid vacation (after 6 months)
