Total Executive Management Portal, Inc. partners with an Asia-wide payment solutions company, based in Makati City, in their search for a RISK DEPARTMENT HEAD. If considered, the candidate will be directly hired by them.
Job Description:
The Risk Management/Department Head will be responsible of the following:
- Formulate and review risk policies. Develop methods to assess risks and ensure the reliability of these methods.Formulate transactional controls and policies to mitigate risks
- Initiate changes and modification to the overall risk management framework and its related activities for further enhancement and efficiency
- Prepare and review risk reports and ensure execution of the action plans
- Assist in transactions monitoring to minimize fraudulent transactions
- Review transaction patterns and implement adjustments to parameters as needed to improve hit rate
- Conduct merchant orientation and fraud investigation
- Prepare Fraud Investigation Reports
- Promote risk management awareness among departments and customers
- Able to interact effectively with external partners on risk concerns
- Ensure risk management policies are updated and properly implemented
- Proactively provide suggestions and recommendations to improve and enhance the existing/new system on the effectiveness of risk management
- Oversee the other functions of the Risk Team, i.e. merchant onboarding and chargeback
Qualifications:
- Candidate must be a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance/Accountancy, or other related background
- With at least 6 years of risk experience with minimum of one (3) year in a relevant management position.
- Must have experience from a Financial Institution, and/or Telco dealing with consumer risk.
- Exposure in the credit / debit card industry and / or dealing with merchants in Telco would be a distinct advantage.
- With Merchant fraud exposure and Fraud Investigation knowledge.
- Must be able to appreciate a technology driven business and implement risk solutions that are quick to market.
- With extensive technical, conceptual and analytical skills.
- Able to understand and consolidate diverse and complex business information and identify / mitigate risk issues.
- Able to present new concepts, overcome objections and explore options to effectively implement new ideas.
- With excellent English communication skills (fluent oral and written).
- Self-motivated and results driven.
- Willing to work in Makati City.
