About the role
Your key responsibilities will include:
Liaise with Team Managers on a regular basis to understand and obtain workflow and delivery timetable and client service expectations.
Communicate and provide timely updates to clients on the status of the work assigned .
Monitor progress of the work and manage deadlines.
Participate in training, coaching of Associates and Analysts and other developmental opportunities where possible
Consistently demonstrate teamwork dynamics by working as a team member: understand personal and team roles; contribute to a positive working environment by building solid relationships with team members; and proactively seek guidance, clarification and feedback.
Carry out instructions from engagement teams using applicable resources in the analysis or execution of the work request.
Raise queries or issues to the immediate manager in a timely manner.
Participate in projects/initiatives to drive process compliance and incite employee engagement.
Demonstrate ability to lead or coordinate and display ownership of projects /initiatives.
Present ideas and suggestions on how to improve work processes.
Conduct process checks on basic, non-judgmental, non-complex areas of work requests.
Discuss results of peer and live review with reviewing Team Manager and submit a peer review checklist summarizing findings noted.
Electronic Audit File Set-up and Maintenance
Importing and mapping of risks and controls
Preparing controls testing workpapers after all procedures have been performed
Analytics Assistance
Setting up the analytics template of the current period with last year's balances, and perform mathematical accuracy checks
Controls Testing
Performing test of operating effectiveness of relevant controls identified by the engagement team
Assisting in walkthrough procedures and documentation which includes creating, updating existing flowcharts in Microsoft Visio
Selecting samples to be tested based on PwC Audit Guid
Updating risk controls matrices based on process narratives and vice versa
Evaluating potential exceptions from test procedures performed
Performing test procedures for user access management, change management,
Incident management, backup and recovery management
Testing completeness and accuracy of key reports and other IT dependencies
Qualifications :
A graduate of BS Accountancy, Finance, Economics, and Business Administration
CISA or CPA license holder is a plus
At least 3 years meaningful experience in Internal Audit or External Audit with exposure on business process and IT controls testing
Proficiency with SOX, Internal Audit and SSAE 16 (SOC1, SOC2)
Proficient in English reading and writing skills and good oral communication skills in English
Team player, committed to providing high quality, taking on new experiences, learning new skills, taking direction and feedback from superiors, maintaining timelines
Digitally skilled to use common applications, including Google & Microsoft Suites and Adobe Acrobat, basic skills in Alteryx and Tableau
Some coaching and supervision skills
