However, if remote work is approved, periodic travel to home office will be required.. This position will provide REVIT modeling support for our Auxiliary Systems team, including device and cabinet placement for Fire Alarm, Telecommunications, Networking, and Emergency Notification designs. Responsibilities: . Working with Engineers and Designers to develop and document equipment locations for Fire Alarm, Telecommunications, Networking, and Emergency Notification designs. . Revit MEP Experience to place and tag library objects, Create Elevation Drawings with Dimensions, Export Drawings, and Verify Placement of Items in 2D and 3D workspace. . Provide progress reports and updates on REVIT modeling progress. Basic Job Requirements . A combination of education and directly related experience equal to four (4) years some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements . Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors . Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job . Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines . Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner Preferred Qualifications . 1+ years of cumulative relevant experience. . Relevant experience with I&C, Aux Systems, or Electrical modeling a plus, but not required. . Associates Degree in CAD or Engineering Technology a plus, but not required. . Ability to communicate technical topics clearly and effectively with internal and external customers.
